Through dedicated committees, HUMAA members work together to plan, develop, and manage initiatives that strengthen our community and advance HUMAA’s mission. If interested in joining a committee
Bylaws Committee
Amends and adjusts current by-laws depending on changing circumstances as it pertains to HUMAA and other Committees.
Budget, Finance and Audit Committee*
Helps to manage HUMAA's finances according to approved and current by-laws.
*must be a HUMAA board member to join
Fundraising Committee
Together with HUMAA staff; plans and helps to coordinate fundraising efforts to ensure the financial viability and stability of HUMAA.
Membership and Engagement Committee
Helps to identify and develop member engagement opportunities that will drive recruitment and retention.
Scholarship Committee
Works with HUMAA staff to allocate scholarships and awards to the current HUCM students based on donor specifications.
Events Committee
Works in concert with HUMAA staff to develop and manage HUMAA events that benefit the membership and goodwill of HUMAA.
Nominating Committee
Recruits/discusses potential candidates who fit the criteria to become a board member, as well as educates the board about the resources needed to realize HUMAA's plans and fulfill its mission.
